Highly Recommended Hunting Experience
We recently spent two days hunting here and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Despite the typical West Coast weather, with plenty of rain, we had a very successful hunt and saw an impressive number of animals throughout our stay.
The hut was excellent – clean, comfortable, and well set up. The fire was a real highlight, keeping us warm and toasty all night while also drying out our soaked gear and clothes after being out in the rain.
Vern was a great host from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean and ready for us, and he took the time to show us around and point us in the right direction to get started. His friendly and welcoming attitude made the whole experience even better.
Overall, it was a great trip with plenty of opportunities to get some target practice and enjoy the outdoors. The combination of a great little hut, abundant wildlife, and helpful hospitality made for a memorable and successful hunting adventure.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway, whether you’re an experienced hunter or just keen to spend some time in the bush. We’ll definitely be back!

What a truly special place, We had every kind of West Coast weather you can think of, and what a treat heading back to a toasty warm hut with the fire going and everything you could ever need. The block is amazing with plenty of access points and sheltered openings that hold unreal numbers of animals in all conditions. Vern’s advice was spot on, and to be honest hearing my wife telling me how easy this deer hunting business is after a quick morning stalk and shooting her first deer , is golden.

I could really just keep on writing all day about how good it was and how people are getting access to great and real hunting.
